And it's a mortar.

Border guards undergo constant training in mortar calculations to skillfully handle this weapon. Some are just getting acquainted with mortars, studying theory, and conducting their first practical shootings.

However, there are already experienced combatants at these training sessions. Among them is Andrii, a border guard and the commander of a mortar team. As part of the Ukrainian Defense Forces, he and his comrades actively use this weapon in the Sumy direction.

"The enemy is very afraid of our mortars," says Andrii. "They constantly hunt us because we inflict very heavy damage on them."
